Agricultural Transformation and Progress

Pee Cee Agriculture Limited operates as a subsidiary of Pee Cee Holding Ltd. This corporate structure supports the broader agricultural objectives within the nation. As a subsidiary of Pee Cee Holding Ltd, Pee Cee Agriculture Limited plays a specific role in executing large-scale cultivation projects. Regarding production capacity, Pee Cee Agriculture cultivates approximately 70 hectares of land twice annually. These efforts result in a total of 140 hectare-cropping cycles per year. The company manages these planting cycles to align with the domestic agricultural supply goals, ensuring that the output from these 140 hectare-cropping cycles contributes directly to the availability of produce within the local markets.

Investment and Future Expansion

Pee Cee Agriculture Limited maintains a long-term goal of developing a 500-hectare mechanized agricultural operation. This objective seeks to scale the company's existing production capacity to support national food security targets. By targeting a 500-hectare mechanized agricultural operation, the firm aims to significantly increase the volume of domestic harvests.

To facilitate this expansion, Pee Cee Agriculture Limited secured a US$12 million loan from the International Finance Corporation (IFC). These funds are designated to increase the firm's operational scale and infrastructure. The capital injection of US$12 million from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) supports the company’s transition toward larger, mechanized farming practices. By implementing these technological upgrades, the organization aims to align its output with the requirements of the Feed Salone initiative. Management intends for these improvements to enhance domestic agricultural supply chains over the coming years. The infusion of capital from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) is intended to provide the necessary resources to reach the 500-hectare mechanized agricultural operation milestone, thereby strengthening the company's ability to contribute to the Feed Salone initiative and the overall stability of food supply chains.
